Nick & Lisa were a fun couple with a simple goal. “Please don’t play the Macarena or Nutbush”. This approach is becoming more and more popular, especially with younger couples. We are entering the era of “cool” weddings. We hope you are ready!
Nick & Lisa got married at the “Old Dairy Maleny”, a stunning venue. If you don’t believe us just check out the recap video to see for yourself. For dinner, Nick & Lisa chose an eclectic mix of alternative and progressive music in a number of genres. Pop, indie and rock. Ben loved the vibe they created through those selections, it is a long way from Sinatra in case you are wondering.
They decided to book our “Dancing on a Cloud” effect for their bridal waltz to add some wow factor to the moment.
When it was time to hit the dance floor it was time to bring the club to the Old Maleny Dairy (we doubt anyone has ever said that before). 90s and 2000s House classics including Benny Benassi, Sneaky Sound System, Fedde Le Grand, mixed in with some modern EDM and some RnB (for Lisa and friends) to change up the tempo.
The dance floor was kicking right through until the end of the night where Lisa & Nick decided to stay on past their planned departure time because they were just having too much fun. Nick & Lisa know how to throw a party and Ben was stoked to be a part of it. Thanks!

“Thanks Ben, you did an amazing job for our wedding. The playlist you created was spot on and banging! Thanks for playing the dance floor to a tee and listening to our recommendations. Finally a wedding without love shack and the Macarena.”Nick & Lisa | The Old Dairy Maleny
