This was a wedding that felt like a celebration right from the start. There was no sign of nerves with either Courtney or Andrew at any stage, which was a testament to their planning skills. The whole we through the process they were on top of everything and keen to make this a party to remember.
As guests arrived at the ceremony at Broadway Chapel, Andrew and his groomsmen were the centre of attention in their kilts and they were certainly keen to play up the mystery over exactly what is worn under a kilt. After the bridesmaids walked down the aisle, Courtney’s surprise for Andrew started. She had secretly hired a bagpiper to play her down the aisle and everyone loved it.
After the ceremony it was time to celebrate and Courtney & Andrew’s guests were certainly in the mood to party. The chose Rydges Southbank for their reception and guests were wowed as they walked into the room to see the amazing view over the city from the top level at Rydges.
As mentioned, everyone was ready to party and as you see in the video, the place went crazy when Andrew & Courtney entered the room. The guests were very lively all night and we had a lot planned to keep them entertained. After some nice speeches, Andrew led Courtney to share their first dance on our Starlight Dance Floor that came to life as they stepped onto it.
The bridal waltz was followed by an emotional father-daughter dance that included a secret surprise for Courtney’s dad. Then it was over to DJ Ben Shipway who packed the dance floor right through until it was time to leave at the end of the night.
