Lorna & Ross’ Tipi Wedding
Sunshine Coast Wedding DJ Hire | #GMDifference
During our first planning meeting, Lorna & Ross came to me with the magic words that every DJ loves to hear. “Having a pumping dance floor is our priority”. So what does that mean exactly? It means that they intentionally planned their wedding on a private property.
No shut off time.
No noise restrictions.
Lorna & Ross even planned my sleeping arrangements! It was THAT kind of celebration! [Skip ahead to watch the recap video of their party.]
International guests flew from countries all over the world, expecting a party to remember, and we made sure that’s exactly what they got.
Dancing started at roughly 8PM, with some dance floor filling classics to warm up the room including “Don’t Stop ‘Til you Get Enough” by Michael Jackson & “Stayin’ Alive” by The Bee Gees. Lorna knew that her friends would lean towards the 90s so we incorporated classic 90s club tracks from Daft Punk, Groove Armada and Benny Benassi. Some 90s hip hop crept in to the mix and my personal ‘track of the night’ was “Bust A Move” by Young MC which lit the dance floor up.
We rounded out the night with some singalong classics, with the highlight being Oasis’ “Wonderwall” which was a massive hit with the English crowd in attendance.
Dancing didn’t end until 2.20am, that’s over 6 hours of dancing for those playing along at home. Check out the video to see all of the action for yourself.
I had a great time partying with this rowdy crew.
Thanks Lorna & Ross!
