G&M Event Group BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. To secure the services of G&M Event Group, a non-refundable 30% retainer is required. The remaining balance is payable anytime prior, but due 7 days prior to the Engagement Date. Any payment not received by due date will incur a late fee. Upon receipt of contract and retainer fee, G&M Event Group deems this agreement valid between G&M Event Group and Client; and will NOT accept any other bookings which conflict with Date and Time of Engagement. If remaining balance is not received by the Engagement Date, G&M Event Group reserves the right to cease performance until payment is made. If services are rendered and payment still has not been made, G&M Event Group reserves the right to utilise any and all means, including legal action, to secure payment.
   
2. In the event Client desires G&M Event Group to perform beyond the specified Engagement Time, a rate of up to $100 per half hour will be charged, payable in CASH or with valid credit card, prior to the performance of the extended duties.
   
3. Events cancelled within 60 days are subject to a 50% payment of remaining balance. Events cancelled within 30 days are subject to 100% payment of remaining balance.
   
4. It is agreed that G&M Event Group executes this agreement as an independent contractor and is not an employee of the Client.
   
5. G&M Event Group shall at all times have complete supervision, direction, and control over the services of its personnel on this agreement and expressively reserves the right to control the manner, means, and details of the performance of services, as well as the ends to be accomplished.
   
6. Client grants G&M Event Group unconditional release for the use of their name(s), photographs, or audio and/or video recordings taken herein-described Engagement for the purpose of G&M Event Group advertising or Promotion.
   
7. Client shall notify proper venue personnel to ensure G&M Event Group has access up to 2 hours prior to scheduled Engagement Time for setup, provide a minimum 2M x 3M performance area, and access to a suitable power point within 10M of the performance area. For outdoor performances, Client shall provide overhead shelter for setup area. Should Client be forced to terminate performance after commencement due to weather that cannot be protected by Client’s provided shelter, Client shall pay the total remaining balance of the length of the performance.
   
8. Client agrees to ensure the security of the performance area. In the event of circumstances deemed by G&M Event Group that present a threat of injury to any personnel or property of G&M Event Group, G&M Event Group reserves the right to cease performance. If the problem persists, G&M Event Group may end performance and Client shall be responsible for payment in full, regardless of whether the situation is resolved or G&M Event Group resumes performance. Client agrees to provide crowd control if warranted.
   
9. Client agrees to accept complete liability for all claims of personal injury or property damage arising from the Engagement noted herein and hold G&M Event Group harmless in all such cases, except when caused by an employee/agent of G&M Event Group. Client agrees to accept full liability for loss or damage to any property belonging to G&M Event Group that is caused by his/her guests, contractors, customers, students, etc.
   
10. If G&M Event Group is unable to perform, a suitable replacement will be found. If one is not found, all monies, including original retainer WILL BE REFUNDED within five (5) working days.
    
11. Details and Terms of the Entertainment Agreement may not be altered, in any way, without the consent of G&M Event Group. All details and Terms have been negotiated and are written herein.
